Shelby County - 2024 | In the Hospital

Well I defaulted on a Title Max title loan after they refused to accept payment from my brother while I was in the hospital. Because they told my brother that even if they took my payment from him. My vehicle would still repossessed because I was not present to sign renewal documents. And they would not let my brother bring the documents to the hospital for me to sign. When I attempted to make a settlement agreement with their corporate office in Carrolltown, TX in the amount of $2300.00 I was told that they couldn't email a letter documenting the agreed settlement so my new loan could be funded. They disclosed that they would not accept a bank draft that the payment had to be made in cash. But I would be given a letter stating I would receive my title within 10 by mail. And until they I receive something in writing to give my loan officer they could not fund the loan.to payoff Title Max. Now I'm stuck on what to do next next because it has been since October 3,2023 since I defaulted on this loan and my vehicle hasn't been repossessed and I just spent $2700 on motor work.
